I'm a Software Engineer, Research Assistant and Advanced RITTech (MBCS) working across distributed systems, cloud infrastructure and applied machine learning. I lead backend design and delivery at Mory Accelerator, contribute to microservice architecture research at Brunel University London, and have shipped production systems handling 25M+ daily requests.

About Me

Hi, I’m Alex. I’m a Software Engineer, Research Assistant, Advanced Registered IT Technician (RITTech), and a Member of British Computer Society (MBCS) based in London, focused on backend engineering, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure and software architecture.

At Mory Accelerator, I lead backend system design and delivery for an internal SaaS platform, coordinating a team of four engineers across architecture and production. At Brunel University London, I contribute to the MiSAR microservice architecture recovery research project and serve as Vice President of the CyberSecurity Society. My work has also been recognised with the Brunel Outstanding Leadership Award in Tech Innovation.

Earlier in my career, I contributed to a real-time bidding platform handling 25M+ daily requests, helped expand connectivity to 250+ DSP/SSP integrations, and worked on AI systems for enterprise oil and gas clients while helping reduce an ML processing workflow from around two weeks to under 24 hours. I’m currently pursuing a BSc in Computer Science (Software Engineering) at Brunel, with a predicted First Class degree.

    Software Engineer - Platform & Infrastructure

    Lead backend system design and delivery for Mory's internal SaaS platform, coordinating a team of four engineers across architecture and production delivery. Design backend systems, APIs and infrastructure for portfolio start-ups, with ownership across modular architecture, CI/CD, containerised deployments, cloud infrastructure and Single Sign-On.
